i had feeling and heard talk about the SI or the Swiss Army 70 for the year 2013,
we heard about the tool being put to rest for many reasons,
however now i know for a fact .
Wenger had plan in 2013 to introduce combo of Titanium/Swiss Army 70 knife and one RangeFire knife with unique tool for fire fighters, it will not be made because of latest developments

so how would this looked like cobination with Titanium:

if we look at the latest developments in SAKs during the last 8 years, there is no doubt
that Wenger have been more innovative at knives, we want the SAK to have the evolution and we want new features, i like both Brands alot but this was sad news, it is like i thought - the competition is needed, i Also have positive info from Victorinox and they will try to keep the best of both Brands, there is a storm of people wondering, and very little to hear....

What a bummer. I would have killed for a titanium scaled SI.

In the National Geographic documentary they showed the innovation guys sitting around discussing about tools and their possible combinations. Given the fact that Vic puts out one new unique model a year (in the best case), I wonder what they do all the time. ::)
