Info on old Wenger
on: February 05, 2013, 02:44:39 PM

Anyone have info on this old Wenger...I think it might be an early Officers model, but am not sure...the closest thing I found was in Swiss Army Knife Owners Manual, the progression of the photograph in the book Kansas this an original officers model? ( page 43)

No emblem...tang stamp us "wenger" above "delemont" above this, on the blade itself, is "made in Switzerland" under the crossbow symbol.

Looks like stainless steel blades which places it after about 1921, fiber scales which were prior to about 1937.  What would certainly be called an Officer's Knife.  But don't know model name or number.

It's genuine. Mid 1930s or earlier. Don't have any info on precise model numbers. Nice find!  :tu:

thanx for all the replies...I was lucky on this one because I think I only paid a small fraction of what I'm guessing its value is...best part is this think has the snap of a new Vic...only question is, to store or to carry.
