New Playmobill set with a Bank robbery...
on: February 12, 2013, 12:39:58 PM
Makes you wonder what they were thinking.....  :D

Of course knights, pirates etc were done before and people have been playing robbers and policemen for years so maybe they will sell well.

i guess it also makes for easier planning when one is trying to find out the best way to rob one or for law enforcement to simulate different scenarios?  :D

I suppose you could judge your parenting skill based on the percentage of how many times the good guys win vs the bad guys!

Look at them, with their big smiles. And that bag is way too small for those gold bars.
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

My boys have the Lego Version, there the robbers only carry a crowbar (although my sons often equip them with some explosives ...  ::)).

To be honest,I don't see the problem here...it's only a toy.Nothing says the robber wins!

Pirates regularly slaughtered the crews of the ships the boarded, but pirate toys are ok.Spiderman/Batman/insert the hero of your choice regularly beat the crap out of people( Gareth Inness asked it beautifully in The Pro...'So where were you guys on 9/11').

We all played the bad guy at some point as kids, and we're all well adjusted knife carrying,MT wielding, gun toting forumites!
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

... you forgot axes, machetes, parangs, billhooks, swords, shillelaghs, sjamboks ...  :pok:

Kids don't know what yes means unless they know what no means too, just as they don't know what's right unless they know what's wrong (and why). What's the point of them having police toys if there's no one to chase. Besides would people rather have their kids police toys chasing their bank robber toys, or their toy feds tracking their toy crack dealing paedo money laundering syndicates ....   :ahhh :ahhh This cops and robbers toy is just another variation on an old play theme

Although I do find the idea of it being used as a police training aid highly amusing  :D
