     Well I received the Cold Steel Outdoorsman Lite and couldn't be happier. The knife is perfect size (for me) for a fixed blade. It came extremely sharp and appears to be Full tang which is always a good thing. The handle has great texture and it fits my hand very well. I used it today to cut a bit of kindling and I tried batoning which worked pretty well. I did have a bit of trouble batoning, but honestly some of the wood I tried it on was old and quite hard. I doubt most other knives would have performed much better with the same wood.
     Once again I have to send out a big thank you to Grathr for the giveaway. It is currently my only fixed blade so it is much needed especially with the weather getting better and Camping/Fishing season gets back into full swing. Thanks again Grathr.

Can't tell from the pic, but is it a hollow ground edge, or saber ground?  I'd be wary of batoning with a hollow ground blade.

Nice looking enough though!   We still need to get together for a few beers...
