7th Anniversary Wrap Up
on: August 01, 2013, 03:03:08 AM
Well this is it- it's August now (according to the server!) and we are going into our Eighth Year now.  What will we see moving forward?  I have no idea, but I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope you all are too!

I'd like to take this chance to say thanks to all the folks that helped out to make our anniversary a great one.  If you get a chance, stop by some of the Facebook pages below and say thanks- just like our members, these friends are what keeps MTO going from one year to the next!

SOG

Leatherman USA

CRKT

Skinth Solutions

Gingrich Tactical

Knife Crazied Survival Gear

Woods Monkey

Mule Team Canvas

Wenger

And of course our good friend (and birthday boy!) Tim, aka Felinevet, aka the Cat Man!

Not to mention a HUGE thumbs up to all the members who hosted their own events to help us celebrate!  It's been a great year and a great month, and now it's time to sleep it off, sweep it up and get back to normal, or at least whatever passes for normal around here!

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone who participated and helps make this the great place that it is!

While I was geeked to win something I have to say I had more fun watching and being apart the great camaraderie here.  I am glad to be a member of this great community and being able to participate in the 7th anniversary celebrations, so thank you one and all for that.

Grant, you have put together a very cool place that i look forward to each day so thank you very much.  The moderators deserve a huge thank you from me and a special thank you to enki for helping me with my giveaway, you all are quite awesome.

The regular posters are what keep me coming back daily, thank you for sharing your knowledge and more so thank you for sharing some of yourselves personally.

Heres   to the 8th year as I approach it along with you all.

Whew... I'm just about run ragged from tracking all the contests.

I wanted to say thanks to all who donated, both time and prizes, to make this happen.

And congratulations to all the winners of cool prizes. I don't think I was as diligent at giving well-wishes as I should have been in all the threads.

Thanks to all the mods who keep this place running.

And finally, thanks to all the MTO crowd, who make this about the most pleasant place on the net for me to come, relax, geek out about tools, and have a good time.

I just posted "a bit" more. It's Tim who's doing all the heavy shipping. ;) I hate going to the post office to send stuff out. :(
