Surge can opener/removable bit driver lock is loose

Has anyone else had this problem? I think the metal piece that engages the lock on the inside of the pliers bent so it barely makes contact with the lock, and the lock rattles (engaged or not).

Is there an easy fix for this?

I would hate to send it to leatherman to fix a simple problem like this.

The bit driver flops about on my surge but i don't think its the lock  hope you sort yours out
