Boker Kiridashi

Im curious if anyone has one or has handled one.  I love the looks of this knife, and have always been a Boker fan.  The price is too steep for me at the moment (around $100.00) but that doesn't stop the love.

That is very cool, but Todd Begg only charged $160 for the original custom.  ::)

Ecosknives makes some cute kiridashis I've been looking at for awhile. Just can't scrounge up the money, or the heart. :D

That price surprises me for a custom.  Considering the price drop that normally occurs from custom to production, I would have thought the Boker to come in lower based on the custom price....if that makes sense.

hmm..$100 for a small skeletonized 440C steel knife?  I'm not a steel snob at all and like the basic 440 steels...but $100 is out there IMO.

How long is that knife BTW?

Is $100 MSRP or street price? Still even if it's MSRP that's pretty steep.

I agree...  :tu:  Look at the Miltner-Adams Mk2. It costs $129 and the Boker version is $20.

Googled that one and laught my ass of because of the vid with that guy demostrating the knife. Nice blade, sure, but that guy  :o You don't want to meet that guy in a dark alley, haha! Reminds me of a vid I once saw of coldsteel IIRC and of course the techno viking  :D :D

I think prices must have dropped, I just won an auction on ebay for one for $14.95. Even with shipping it was a touch under $25 delivered. Pure chance I found out about kiridashi's at all, just followed a link to one of the shops on Peter Atwood's site and 10 minutes later I'm bidding at auction. Had never heard of them before that. Can't wait for it to arrive.
