Another name for Doily?

I have a few that a friend of my grandma's made but I heard them called them something else. Any of you have any ideas? Grandma has been gone 5 years now and I still need her wisdom so often. Help

While the word usually refers to the metal kind, a doily can also be called a trivet.

Also sometimes called Coasters.
