Do a search for "DC-fix" on Google or Yahoo.  It's the preferred diffusion material among most flashaholics over at CPF.  It's cheap, easy to cut to shape/size, easily removable yet won't easily come off by itself, and works exceptionally well.  The primary advantage of it is that unlike most other diffusion methods, it causes almost no lumen reduction from your torch.,
