I've never tried a Flik , they look quite usefull
If it wasn't for my doubts over the Phillips I'd be a lot quicker to recommend them.

@Ducttapetech, is the Phillips on yours totally useless?  On mine it wouldn't even look at fitting a screw head, let alone be bad at turning it. :-\
Some screws it did ok. Some, not happening. Just slipped out out of the screwhead. A big problem was the driver was just not long enough. What is weird is that leather use 2d drivers and work great most of the time. I think if the Flik driver was a tad thicker it would work great.

interesting.  The problem with mine was that it was way too thick.  I suspect a little inconsistency in the making of this Phillips.

Not sure. I was thinking if it was a think as a leatherman bit, they could cut a better and deeper head in it. If that makes sence.

Hard for me to say as I own so many Gerbers! I like the older models better as they seem to be better quality overall, but I use a Fit everyday at work and it is nice. It is the only MT of its type that is any kind of quality at all. I have two Freehands, one black oxide, and one stainless, and like them both quite a bit. I also own two MP600's one BO, one SS and a 650.  I own several more of the later models also, but they are mediocre to good at best.

I have a lot of Gerbers as well, and quite honestly I like just about all of them.  The Crucial F.A.S.T. is actually quite a nice little tool that gets little exposure, probably largely due to the original Crucial which is pretty crappy.

I'm not sold on the Fit, but I think that's more due to it being such a radical departure from the types of tools I am used to carrying and using, plus it's not terribly portable, which loses it a lot of points in my mind.  Still, I agree with Mike, it is the best of it's type of tools, or at least the best I've seen.

The MP600 series is classic- they are as proven as any tool gets, and one could make a career out of just tracking down and obtaining every MP600 variant there is.

The Flik is quirky but I like it a lot and it's one of my regular EDC tools- and amusingly enough it saw some carry time yesterday because I couldn't find my Steady as I headed out the door!

My favorite Gerber?  I doubt I could pick just one.  There are some that are kind of useless and absurd, there are others that are no nonsense, tough as nails tools and lots in between and I appreciate them all for what they are.
