PST with Hoffritz on blade

I need help identifying this PST, with no dare stamp at all and a saber blade. Any clues?

Looks to me like the Late '80s model, variation #7 from the Leatherman PST chronology project, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Hoffritz was a chain of knife retail stores in the US. I've seen many SAK's with Hoffritz etched on the blade or stamped onto the handle scales. I think they are out of business.

My first SAK was a Hoffritz Swiss Champ. That was purchased over 25 years ago. They had a nice store but not sure if they're still around.

As far as I can remember these was sold at the Hoffritz cutlery stores in the late 80,s I'm sure there was a mini on here with the same mark

I think Hoffritz became International Cutlery, but I do not know if even they are still in business.

PST's with Hoffritz etched knife blades pop up once in a while. They dont usually bring much. Most collectors do not like logoed tools. Unless of course you are collecting that particular companys items.
