But do they ship to your location? Amazon.de (well any amazon really ) usually won't let me order anything except books and CDs. :(

Well, you can go with any of them... one simply cannot go wrong with Victorinox.
I cannot mod.
I cannot trade.
But I can collect.

Just remember, nobody ever regretted buying a SwissChamp (or three)... :D

And after four or five layers (depending on SAK), it doesn't matter how many layers a SAK has... After four or five layers it's going to ride in your pocket or sheath on its back / front and not on its side anyway.

edit: Too late... Cybertool it is!

Next question.
What do you use to sharpen your knives? Or what inexpensive tool to use to sharpen Victorinox 91mm long ans short blade?

I am using Lansky five stones kit (with oil, not cheap), Victorinox small sharpening stone (with water, cheap) or a big 200/600grit sharpening stone (with water, medium priced), depending on what I want more a the time.

If I want a perfect blade on a knife I care about, I use the Lansky, if I am in a hurry and need to touch up a beater, I use Vic stone, if I want to sharpen a beater while increasing my sharpening skills, I use the big stone.

First, don't sharpen unless absolutely necessary.
I would choose a Victorinox product. They are good and cheap. There is the orange stone for edge shaping and the dual ceramic sharpener. There are other products as well.

You can see the Victorinox products in the left down corner. A diamond steel (in the center) is good also.

Among the more expensive products in the above link the Lansky system has recommendations. But I wouldn't buy it for less than 20 SAKs and knives.

I just use a Smith's Pocket Pal sharpener.  Fairly easy and effective for those of us who aren't skilled sharpeners (like me :P).  It's cheap too.

The Smiths Pocket Pal is a pretty good sharpener that's easy to use, and as the name implies, fits in your pocket.  I mostly use my Lansky as I usually buy used knives that need to be touched up, and I find that it does it the best.

Swisschamp is thick...very thick. I think Cyber Tool is better for me, because of a hex swrewdriver thingy...it is also thinner.

What do you say about blades? Is one longer (Hercules) better then two shorter ones (91mm + a short one)?

I think the Swisschamp wouldn't be great for pocket carry, but if you added a suspension clip to it, that would eliminate some of that issue.  As for blades, I'd say that depends on your intended uses.  I prefer having the 91mm blade as it's big enough imo, and the smaller blade is good for those cutting jobs that don't require a long knife, like opening packages or chip bags, etc.  It's always a good idea to have at least a couple knives just in case since it's probably the most used item for many of us.

I carry my Swisschamp on a dangler not my hip pocket and you almost forget it's there,i also use a pouch with a solitaire,

Right.  I don't think it would carry in a pocket very well without a suspension clip.  I got one for my Explorer and it makes a big difference.  The only problem is that I think the clip is too long and only really helps when I'm wearing jeans, which is only occasionally compared to what I wear at work.  The pockets in my dressier pants aren't quite as deep I guess because the Explorer reaches the bottom somewhat.  I need to get a smaller clip.

This is the only way to go. Just make several lengths / colors you could even use your suspension clip on it. Trust me its the only way.

(Image removed from quote.)

That does look like a good idea :tu:  Just being able to unclip it whenever needed and have it hanging in the pocket.  Unfortunately, I don't know how to make one of those :(

There is, also, the quick-release way:

That is cool, i have tried it with the metal quick release and found it awkward, I didn't like the metal coupling hanging off my SAK.

Thank you :) I know what you mean, I was using the metal couplers too and it was, as you said, awkward, in various ways. The plastic "safety" clips are strong enough to never unclip by themselves but very quick in use, you just grab the SAK and pull it out. And they are feather light, so you don't know it's there when you are using the SAK.

I like the easy-out way you used to place the hanger loop on the belt without the need to pull out the belt to place it or remove it, I am going to try it too.
