Has anybody tried any of these custom scales? What are your recommendations?

I ordered out a pair some years back. Had a lot of problems getting them, which the dealer blamed on the Brazilian postal system. When they arrived the wood was bland and the workmanship so-so. Probably wasn't worth the hassle. All of my other wood scales look better.
