This looks like a really good case if you are hard on your phone.

I loved my Otter Box until I discovered the LifeProof case, The only drawback is you have to use the original Apple chargers. ( aftermarket one will not work ) Thats a good looking case in the picture!

I've been waiting for that case! Should work well when riding my motorcycle in the rain and using my iPhone for GPS.

Shouldn't a life proof case kills your phone as soon as you put it inside?  :D

Thats funny, I never thought of it that way  I also love the Lifejacket accessory as I am out in my Sport Nautique wakeboarding with my kids and it almost went overboard a few times!

I have the Otterbox Defender case for my phone and I love it. I don't use it though since it won't fit over the extended battery I have.

My husband uses the Otterbox Defender as well, and minus the belt clip breaking (repeatedly), it certainly does its job. he's a klutz, and drops his phone probably on a weekly basis.

Yeah I broke the clip on mine a few times and gave up on it. Now I just pocket carry it.

If you call OtterBox, they will send you a new belt clip. A friend has done this twice. And now that I've convinced him to keep the clip on the front of his hip rather than than the side, he hasn't broken any more.

I would actually choose my next phone based on what cases are available.  Since I use my phone a lot at work, and I work outside in a wet, cold and often nasty environment, phone protection is important to me.

My wife just got me a new Ipod Touch 5 and I went with the Griffen Survivor case instead of the Otter Box Defender case I had on my previous generation and I can't be happier with it. The rubber fits very tight in place and all the ports are covered and protected against splashes. The back camera is protected as well. Cheaper then the Otter Box Defender also.

I just opened mine up and figured I could take some pictures. I currently have the Galaxy S3 and while I didn't NEED this case, I really wanted it, plus a significant portion of the cost was considered a birthday gift so how could I NOT get it? I didn't do a full half hour test but about ten minutes in water and the inside stayed dry(before I put the phone in it) Sadly I didn't think to take pictures of that.

This case is HUGE. I had the defender case which was also large but now that seems small. In the pictures, There is the armor case with my phone in it, a Supertool for size comparisons, my old defender case and my sisters phone in the commuter case. I tried to show the overall size as well as the increased thickness compared to the defender case. I hope the pictures are helpful.

Overall, I think this is going to be a very nice case even if I don't need a case that stands up to everything. I think I will avoid testing the drop protection and crush protection. While I am curious, I am not curious enough to risk my still new(ish) phone.  It seems well built and it looks really cool so I an currently very happy. We'll see if it stays that way.

I am strongly considering replacing my Atrix with an S4, and if I do I really hope they make an S4 version of this case as I'd really like one.

I refer you to my work thread yesterday for why I want one...
