Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist for The Doors, died today at the age of 74.  :salute:

There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

Very sad.He was the real genius behind The Doors!
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

Seriously talented guy :(

I was always in awe of his left hand bass lines and the way he pretty much developed the Doors' unique sound. Never really got in to his later stuff so much like X, but he certainly contributed very richly to my musical education a a kid.

The Doors still is one of my favourite bands. Greatly influential on my ears too. RIP, Ray Manzarek  :clap:
