My experience tells otherwise:
- Lateral blade play: check (58 mm, 91 mm, 93 mm included).
- Dulled blade tip from slapping the backpring/spacer, from factory, with mark on the hit metal part: check (91 mm and 93 mm).
- Wood saw closing on (and damaging) liner: check (84 mm, 111 mm).
- Orange peeler/scraper MiniChamp blade closing on liner: check (new Cellidor MiniChamps).
- Space between scales and exterior liners, scales not flush: check (84 mm, 91 mm, 111 mm).
- Longitudinal blade play when locked: check (111 mm, both liner and side locking).
- Large blade scrapping on awl/awl scrapping on blade on 93 mm: check.
- Nailfile scrapping on blade on Cadet: check.
- Electrician blade scrapping on main blade: check.
- Wrong tools mounted: yes! Example: MiniChamp with two emergency blades (at least good not with two cuticle pushers).
- Bent blades from factory: check (58 mm, 91 mm, 93 mm).
- Dull blades from factory: check.
- Scratched Cellidor handles and scratched anodizing on colored alox: plenty of...
etc
Fortunately there are still plenty nicely done to forget the duds. Unfortunately defects like these tend to be more and more frequent as production costs are lowered.
I am still a fan though and enjoy collecting despite the flaws sometimes found.
