Hello from NY
on: June 26, 2013, 05:56:37 AM
Hello I'm Nhoj and this is my 1000th post. :D When I joined I just dove right in so here is my intro! I live in the Village of Fairport near Rochester NY and on the Erie canal. I have a great dane and two cavalier king charles spaniels. I also have two siamese cats, a rose haired tarantula, a cockatiel, and a California king snake. I guess you could say I love animals. I love to hike and camp and do both regularly. I also love to fish and my favorite spot is at Fair Haven Beach State Park. Backpacking is also something I greatly enjoy and I'm  working to become a 46er (summiting all 46 Adirondack high peaks.) I also like kayaking which I know several members here also like including Grant. I started out with flat-water kayaking but then moved to whitewater. The only part I don't like about it is the cold water when you flip in the whitewater. I have mostly Victorinox and Leatherman tools but there are some Gerbers Wengers and misc. brands in there as well. MTO is such a friendly and great place and I love it here! I hope I'll be here for many more thousands of posts! (I will also be having a giveaway in the near future  )

39   I've always loved mountains but just started doing the 46 about two years ago. I guess I'll have to kick it into overdrive. My next trip will be up the mountains Marshall and Iroquois and it is going to be an off the trail one
