Some pics of my customized iClimber
on: May 30, 2013, 08:55:39 PM
Hi folks!! I received my new handles, so I restored my old climber which has been suffering rain, grease, and a lot of disasters during more than 20 years.
The original handles was melted because of the long mediterranean sun exposure, and the blades and tool was almost blocked because of the dirt...so some dish wash, oil and now it looks a brand new product manufactured in cupertino and as smoothness as if it where new.
For "installing" the sides, I used my swisstool, making pressure with the sides.
I´m happy with the final result, and hope to show it soon to my brother who gave it to me for christmas when i was a teen
So here some pictures

Very- very nice. My 15 year old Swisschamp was made new instantly after replacing the scales also. If you are careful with stainless steel it might serve you for a lifetime.

Do white scales discolour with age? Are they easily stained?
