I am liking my TTi
on: April 25, 2008, 03:29:09 AM
Well, to start off I have two TTi's. I have the standard TTi and the Cabela's Camo BO one which is very cool. I am thinking about making an EDC rotation and this will be in it. When I first bought my STD. TTi the blade was dull, but, after five minutes using the Sharpmaker it is " hair popping" sharp. One feature I really like is the cutting hook. I always liked that on my XTi/ALX. I am thinking about taking the serrated blade off of my ALX and putting it on my AL. Then, I would have a ALi (or something). Bob's metal saw mod works very well on the Charge/Wave models also. So, thats another big plus. After carrying a SURGE for years, the TTi feels unnoticeable. I am a big fan of the TTi. It can never replace a SURGE.. Well, nothing can!  >:D

Yep Yep,

The Surge is indeed, irreplaceable.  The Charge models are very convenient and eye-catching (think jewelry for blue collars :o).  Not to mention very very light in my pocket as opposed to a Surge.  I put the belt clip onto the Surge and my god, the thing would easily come open in my pocket due to gravity.  People notice the Charge when you whip it out (must be the titanium) and more than frequently, ask to see it!

This guy is selling 'em at a pretty decent price, IMHO. Doesn't gouge on S&H either.
