ST 300+sheath+lanyard

I have an ST300 that came with the "wonderful" leather box sheath. Now is there anyway possible to carry it in the sheath with the lanyard ring open so as to also hang 1 of my paracord lanyards from it?

I think I saw someone grind down the little tab that sticks out and you can tuck it in between the handles when it's closed. I could be very wrong.
Why stop now?

Trust me I hear ya my pst ive had for 13 years and loved it and I thought about making a attachment or taking the 1 off my pst...........the only reason I have this god forsaken st300 in the first place is cause I left mt skele cx on the bumper of pops truck in homedepot parkinglot after reattaching his licence plate   ........... so he felt bad and brought me home this one day lol

Guess its off to make a tool to take these things apart

Well as Tony says "everything is adjustable." I`d just cut a chunk out of the sheath to allow for the lanyard.     :D

It has absolutly crossed my mind but then you have to worry about watching what way you put it in the sheath

Doesn't the lanyard get in the way while working with a tool?
I use S-biners with my SAKs but even the smallest doesn't fit in my Surge's lanyard hole.

Not really but im gonna change it around and put the release hook on the tool and keep the other to attach my keys to that way if I do have to remove it it will be simple
