My latest 'saved the day' story is from last night.  My son was riding his new tricycle around the block and a piece of the plastic wheel jammed against the frame and the wheel wouldn't turn.  Out came the blade from my swisstool rs and cut away the plastic.  He was happy to have his bike back in action. :D  I normally don't carry the full size swisstool, but i was just using it to assemble the bike, so I still had it on me.

The last time I biked the loop at Cades Cove, I came up on a few people that had rented bikes to ride. The rear derailleur on one of them hadn't been adjusted correctly and they had thrown the chain off into the spokes. Even with my swisstool it took 5-10 min to get the chain dug out and after getting it back on the cassette I adjusted the stops so it wouldn't happen again (apparently I had come up on them the third time it happened in 2 miles).

I saw them about an hour after I completed the ride and they didn't have any more issues.

Gave a watch as a gift to 2 of my sister-in-laws when I went to visit the in-laws (abroad), used my Vic Spirit to adjust the sizes, taking out links, etc. Was a pleasure to do, useful having pliers and an awl in one place to complete what would otherwise have had me scrambling around for makeshift tools in an unfamiliar environment.
