The big wait is nearly over for GTA IV !!!

I dont know about anybody else on here, but I've been waiting for this game ever since GTA:SA came out and pre-ordered a couple of copies of it about 6 months ago and it should be pushed through my letterbox tomorrow (didn't come today unfortunately

) on its release date on Tuesday. I cant wait!! I've been a huge GTA fan since GTAIII and this one should be superb.

So anybody else here waiting very impatiently like I am for the best game ever produced?

That game looks awesome!

I have the original (which I still think is great) and Vice city on my PSP. The graphics on GTA IV look amazing.

Pure fun = Wii , all round = xbox360, most future potential = ps3 thats my take at least.

As for GTA IV, it looks pretty good but i just don't feel the excitement for it i have for other games. The original 2D ones appeal to me more

Yeah, its built on a completely different engine and the graphics do look fab. I'm trying to find a vid I seen yesterday that soemone has posted with 1080p quality.

Summed it up well. I have an Xbox360, a mate of mine is soon to get a PS3 so I should see what its really like soon. The only little downsides to the 360 IMO is that the PSU to power it, is about as big as the console itself

and it sounds like a jet engine when its on, it must have about 10 cooling fans inside I think!

I have Liberty City Stories and Vice City on PS3. I also have GTA SA on PS2. But, now I have a PS3. I love the PS3. It has free online, web browser, backwards capability, and even how you charge the controllers with a USB cable. Wait until the PlayStation Home comes out. It's like the Sim 's but you meet real people and chat. Link-

Other reasons why the PS3 is the ultimate system would be: it has wi-fi built in. On 360 you have to buy the receiver for about $100. Or, how it has 1080p capabilities with out having to buy the HD receiver. The PS3 is just a great system overall. I would recommend it to anybody!

I actually just finished San Andreas about a week ago. It was amazing! I still fire it up to fly the Harrier around and see what I can find. I'm excited about IV but I'm probably not going to get to play if for a few years since I have no inclination to get into the current generation systems right now. I'm a late adopter for gaming systems, when everyone else is going crazy for the PS4 or whatever I'll sneak in and buy a PS3/Xbox360 for pennies and get a bunch of used games.

Same here, only I use PCs exclusively (I like the controls). I don't think my current computer can play San Andreas let alone GTA IV

What's the word on multitplayer for this new GTA?

Multiplayer looks pretty sweet for this GTA. I'm reading the latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly and they've listed, team deathmatch, Co-Op missions, and multi-player racing as the modes. Sounds pretty cool, I'm most excited about the co-op missions, I love those!

I think the last GTA game I bought was GTA II on sale for $4.99 at Blockbuster!

I haven't played any games lately, and I don;t think I even have any installed on any of my PC's now, including my beloved Unreal Tournament. I just haven't had times for games in recent months, and I haven't even gotten the new Unreal III yet.

I was given WoW and a few other games for my birthday, but I haven't yet installed or played them, as the mmorpg genre really requires you to put some serious time in, just like the RTS games that I love. Unfortunately I just don't have 4-5 hours to play a game with...
