"People do have an expectation of intoxication" when they eat pot, said Dan Anglin of EdiPure, maker of many popular kinds of pot-infused candies.

This is totally fitting to this thread, me thinks.
And FYI: The 'deadly consequences' were a stoned student jumping off a hotel building and a man who shot his wife while under influence of THC and other drugs - and NBC makes it sound as if they died from marihuana poisoning....

Well you could always send a few of the ones you have to me so you'd have an excuse to go hunt for them again.

Local store has stainless Wenger esquire for $20, I don't know if I should buy it or not. On one hand it's now a collectible, on the other I have enough crap already and really should be downsizing.

No, the other way. Offer me knife which I have not yet.

If I as a beginner have already more than 1000 meters, How much have the professionals, full Time collectors and No Life cracks here?

With less than 10,000 knives you are not right collector, so I keep looking …

I woke up this morning and seriously thought I might have somehow sprained my shoulder. Wondering why it hurt so much, it occurred to me that I spent an hour and a half yesterday using a dremel, struggling the whole time to hold my hand steady.

So... basically... I'm just getting old.

15 years ago I was soldering 400pin QFPs like buttering a piece of toast... now I almost have to use both hands to stop the iron from shaking to solder a single wire... :ahhh might have been my coffee level on the day however...

The wind off the bay was so strong on the second-floor porch at the beach house we're at that sugar was getting blown out of the mug.  I had to get up and go into the kitchen to finish getting myself a cup. :(

An epicure dining in Crue
Found quit a large mouse in the stew.
Said the waiter, don't shout
And wave it about
Or the rest will be wanting one too.

A number of other variations as to what the diner found.   :D

It reminds of the people complaining that their Opinel , Carbone, rusted.

funnily enough, until a week or two ago i knew nothing about carbon vs stainless steel. I didn't even know my opinel was carbon until Magentus suggested I needed one and i went off and dug it out.
Even better, despite years of non use it was not rusty :)

Just as I was starting to think about what I should have for lunch I saw a big sign on a restaurant on the other side of the road.  The sign said: "Try Our Famous Fried Shrimp!"  So, I drove up to the next intersection, made a U turn, and crossed three lanes of traffic to get to the place. They were crowded, but I found a parking space and went in.  The waitress seated me, I ordered an iced tea and said I'll try the famous fried shrimp.

The waitress tells me,  "We're out of shrimp today."
