Neat device- 3D printing pen

I just saw this and thought it was really cool!

I can see one of these coming in handy for a lot of different things... and also for making Pictionary a heck of a lot easier!  :P

As this is a privately owned and members funded forum we can't allow you to advertise for free here. If you're searching for input and thoughts on your project you'll need to upgrade your account to a Research and Development subscription you can buy here for only $10 for 30 days or $100 a year.

Then you'll be able to post links to your project in our R&D subforum.

Be sure to read Multitool.org Think Tank Rules too.

If you have any more questions or would like to buy a banner ad to sponsor your project, please contact Grant Lamontagne, the site owner via private message.

Nice to have you with us.

Sorry about that.

;)

Looks really cool and I love to have one and the $99 preorder sounds fairly reasonable too. Can it use any plastic (like recycling plastic stuff that would end up in the trash) or do you have to buy special refills from them? Will you be buying one and giving us a review of it. :pok:

I was thinking about getting one but if I have to deal with that smurfhole Grant for advertising then I think I'll pass!

I have been giving serious thought to it as well, except that I have absolutely no artistic ability whatsoever. I can barely use a 2D pen...

Your not the only one! My wife tells me I can't draw a straight line with a ruler as a guide.

Yeah i know, its call alcoholism so you know  :D

Ive seen that a long while ago, thought that it was already in stores. Its a great implementation but too expensive for something i would be bored after 10 uses.

It's... interesting, for sure.  I have zero artistic talent outside of music, though.

Why does this remind me of a glue gun?   :D

well it essentially is a glue gun, but with quicker setting plastic by the look of it, and finer output.
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
