they were selling for 47 and change at westmarine with the 2 cards and a led lenser light not to long ago ( that's where i got mine ). 300 views could very well reflect folks just passing thru curious about price.

Just double checking! Is it all tight or do the one hand tools open up smooth?

I ask because I had one that was new too and it was very stiff to where I had to use two hands to open the tools and that stunk!

It really just depends on the item and the time; some months a Mini Tool will be snapped up in minutes, and other times it'll sit for a week or more. Lots of people are on this forum, and it depends on finances and the particular whim of who wants what; the Wave is a more common tool, not a bad one, but more common, so a good portion of the forum, I would bet, has one (with an outlier group having multiples - I have multiples, heh), therefore the demand for a Wave at the moment may not be all that high, hence it not moving.

Likewise, perhaps it was simply a case of bad timing; we'd recently had a couple deals for Waves pop up a week or three before you posted yours for around $40 to $45 shipped. In recent months, individual sales of Waves on the forum tend to vary between $40 to $60 USD shipped for Waves, with the lower to midrange priced examples being weighted more than the higher end.

Also, I'm one of those people that dislikes seeing unread posts, so though I had no interest in another Wave, I still have opened this thread multiple times, just on the off-chance that I missed something that piqued my interest better. Page views, as bmot stated, does not always reflect window shoppers.

In summary, stick around the forum and try again; the next item may be snapped up before you know it; it simply depends on numerous factors.
