Old Paratool, wondering what it's worth.

I have an older NIB Paratool with the Blackie Collins holster and I was wondering what kind of value it has. Ebay hasn't been much help. I don't want to ruin something I can't replace down the road, by beating it up. Thanks for any help!

I picked up exactly the same as that at an auction here, I think it was about $40.

A few knife shops sell these for $30 with the Blackie Collins sheath but without the box. That's the older style, but never used. I'd give you $40 shipped for it.

Like anything, the going price is whatever somebody else would be willing to pay. I can remember a few years ago here on the forum when someone first posted pictures of a Paratool with the Blackie Collins sheath. It was the first time that many of us were even aware that there WAS a special sheath made for this tool. And of course we all just HAD to have one.

So for the next several months, every time one of them came up on eBay for sale, the final price was driven somewhere north of $60 or $70 or so.

After awhile though, the fever died down, as did the going price. I would think today a price of $40 would be fair.

Excellent, thanks for the info guys! Now this one is definitely going into my EDC rotation. I'll probably carry it tomorrow.
