Still rockin' the Scourge. People seems to get nervous when I carry it in public. So would like to get a backstrap (like a mini backpack) to put it on and walk around Walmart with that on. :D

Don't have a secondary belt for it yet...  :-\  ... and it is so heavy it will pull my britches down.  :ahhh

I made this one in exchange for an anvil, I was supposed to deliver it in person, the farm is about 2 hours drive from home, but in more than a year there's never been an opportunity.

I was beginning to feel guilty, but my buddy picked it up this afternoon and will finally deliver.......it's for  his sort-of-father-in-law.

Sad and happy to see it go  :salute:

Since I don't think a Cold Steel Kukri Machete really counts, I'm not in the club at the moment

But just wait......I'll be back with the product of sweet love between a Kukri and a Bowie, perhaps with a Four Elements themed handle........but I will be back

The obsession started weekend before last, I'd been fondling the blank with the initial angle grinder bevels for what feels like weeks now, and suddenly rather late in the the I started with it again......

The force was so strong with this one I put in several hours after work, smurfed up a few times because I couldn't see.  The turning season might be having an influence on me, for sure can't wait the 15+ days until we greet Daylight Savings time forever.......

The hand sanding was bad, thanks to the angle grinder's efforts, I was a bit smurfed on Friday afternoon, so I started sanding down to 400 grit 7am  Saturday morning.

Normalized 3 times, quenched in oil and two 1 hour tempering cycles.

Yesterday morning the neighbours hated me, few finishing touches were needed before I could glue, even put in another hours' sanding.

This morning 00:43 I made myself put down the knife and stone.....don't feel great today.

As things are going, you'll see photos soon  :salute:

you couldn't find a duck to give a Kuk to or a Kuk that could be wielded by a duck?
