This made me pull the trigger.  I wasn't going to buy one, then I thought well if I see an old one I will buy it, but... this is a good price and I've missed out on a couple earlier such deals... so...  it was crazy... but...  since Wenger won't be making them any more what could I do?

That was about the same price I was able to get mine for. A dealer friend back in the mid-Atlantic ordered out two. Sold one to me at cost and kept the other as a 'draw' to his tables at gun and knife shows.

I've already got a tracking number... this sale is going very smooth unlike another one I was working on for months, and I know you'd all really like to happen, but I'm sad to think it might not.  Maybe this Wenger deal was a present from the SAK gods to let me know they're still trying to help me out.

We will miss Wenger and the wonderful wacky things they would do.   :(
