I just got a email from leatherman

here is mine
Where is the oht made , where where its parts made, is it made of USA steel, where  are they assembled, where is the sheath made

there response

Joes,

OHT is made and assembled in the USA, at our factory in Portland OR out of stainless steel.  The sheath is made in China.

I thought the same about the MUT, but I really enjoy having and using it. It's such a solid tool, and the onboard storage for the long bits is great.

Ive enjoyed reading this thread, and I wouldn't have probably bought a OHT if it wasn't for your thread here.  :D

I got it in on thursday and played with it for a bit.  Its not for me so I ended up returning it, but at least I know now.   ;)  Im just not a fan of the sliding plier style.  I can open the pliers on a regular wave or charge easier one handed than this sliding type, and then you get normal length tools.

Your thread was a good advertisement though, it made me order one to try that I didnt have any interest in before.  Maybe Leatherman should pay you to do stealth advertising. :D  We'll see JA's one piece tool challenge next.
