Bill and I have collaborated on this project for some time and it's finally complete - A Hard Anodized (HAIII) SAK. The Farmers have to be disassembled (only Aluminum can be anodized), acid and wire brush stripped, sent for anodizing, then reassembled. It is very and time intensive (Bill does all the work). Thanks guys for the positive comments. For the collector there won't ever be another chance after this color run. For the user, it offers the kind of durability in colored Alox that everyone wants. I used the knife quite a bit last night and I have to say, without a doubt, this is going to quickly become my favorite Farmer for carry. The grip that the hard anodized finish gives the knife is so much better than the original type II. The only thing I can compare it to is the finish on a Surefire flashlight. The color is the same dark grey with somewhat of a 'greenish' tint. It has a definite military look.

All Farmer enthusiasts should own one of these Mike.

I would definitely call it more of a dark grey than green. Pictures, monitor color profiles, etc. can be deceiving at times.
