My thoughts on the Zebralight SC52

Fit and finish of the light is excellent. Milling is excellent. I find that the heat cutout and grooves on the handle are perfect for gripping the light. Threads for the tail cap are very good but a bit gritty out of the box. That is easily fixed. The anti roll works great. The size of the light is perfect for me. The orange peel reflector makes a nice floody beam with great throw. The pocket clip is excellent. I like my pocket clips tight and this one is just perfect. The grooves on the handle make it even more secure in your pocket, but will tear up your jeans quite a bit if you use your light often. The position of the ON/OFF switch is very easy to locate in the dark. I also like how much force is necessary to use the ON/OFF switch. It will disable the light if you give the tail end a slight turn which is a nice feature to have. I find it very convenient and needed to be able to go directly from off to a low or medium setting which this light does. I think the user interface is the best thing since sliced bread. The output is awesome. When I turn it on I have people asking me why I have such a big flashlight until they look in my hand and see a tiny pocket light. They are instantly intrigued.

All in all it has never disappointed and has performed flawlessly. I give it a A+ in my book and would absolutely buy another Zebralight product.

I'm another Zebralight fan, my current favourites are the H502, H600 and SC52 (and I'm waiting until the H602 has been in production for several months and then I'll probably add one of them to my "herd").

I have the 51 and like it very much but I NEED a headlamp of theirs. Just have to consider what I'm willing to trade for one and see if anyone has one they'd be willing to part.
