used Gold Alox Elinox Pioneer - Mod Fodder or Collectors item?

So I have this old golden Alox Pioneer.
It´s got an Elinox Tang stamp and old Cross.
It has a brass liner and no Keyring, but a (missing) bail.

The Awl is broken and the screwdriver is bent (can be tweaked back I guess)

I do have a new blade and awl, so I´d like to make my first steps in Alox-working by transplanting those into the old knife.

Am I destroying a Collectors item or am I just about to totally FUBAR an old knife?

If some collector wants it, I`ll let it go at cost - or in a trade for a Pioneer/Soldier I can use or repair.

I´ll wait with drilling out the rivets for a few days....

I don't thinks it's really a collectors piece in that condition.
I see them every now and then and they don't go for huge sums unless they are in perfect shape with hardly any scale wear.
If it was me I would send it off to Victorinox and get them to replace the damaged tools only.

I did buy this damaged one especially to do some work on an Alox SAK myself.
I know Victorinox could repair this knife quite nicely, but I think I´ll have a go myself.
I just wanted to check if it was especially collectable beforehand.

If you want a bail thomas your welcome to the one i removed from my si,was going to keep it but ill never put it back on so yours if you need it  thats a very nice pioneer, its the next alox on my list  good luck restoring it
