Les Stroud commercials?
on: September 29, 2013, 11:18:00 PM
I just spotted this commercial for Telus, the Canadian phone company.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loq2vf8aYh0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

While searching for that commercial on YouTube I found this older Geiko commercial.

Good to see that he has a sense of humor!

Lizards are good roasted, right? Maybe a missed opportunity for Les

If you really want to get technical, a Madagascan Day Gecko (largest member of the diurnal gecko family) only reaches about ten inches long, so there really isn't enough meat on one to justify the energy expenditure to catch and cook one.  :D

I saw 4 geckos. That might be a reason enough to put a few traps

The gecko commercial is good, but the telus one is a little lame.

Don't they eat bugs? My grantparents's place had a lot of them and people always left them alone.

We leave 'em alone here as well. Although if you're hungry, well then they are fair game
