An Android/Tapatalk question.....

So I got myself a Samsung Galaxy Centura a few weeks ago, and am slowly figuring it out.  One question though-how do I post a picture via Tapatalk?  I can use Tapatalk, I can get the picture from my phone to Photobucket, and I can copy the photobucket link.  Can't paste the thing though!  Any help?  Thanks!

Press and hold your finger against the screen in the reply window and a PASTE option should pop up. :D

You can also post the pic directly from your phone using the camera button in Tapatalk.  Just write your post then click the camera icon, select your photo and away you go.

In android long press usually functions same as right click, opens context menu.

There was some sort of update a couple of days ago and I have not been able to see any posted pictures since. I have to go to a browser to see them every time...

It seems that all pictures have a problem. Sometimes I may see one picture but I have not checked whether the one I see is attached or linked. In the past two days I saw maybe 2 pictures. With some if you click on the picture icon (with no picture) it may open and show the picture.
The problem affects other forums too so it is not an MTO problem.

I tried the v4 beta. I had a few problems with images, so I removed it and went back to v2. I'd suggest you do the same and wait for a non beta update.

I downloaded the latest update and I can see the pictures again.
I use 4 because it is free. I assume the others cost money.

iirc there may be an update pending on the forum plugin waiting for me... I didn't want to install just as I was heading out the door AFK for a few days and possibly leave it in a non working state if the update went south (which it may well not have done, but I like having some free time available to troubleshoot/revert if it does).

I will get that installed soon and hopefully it may help. I don't have tapatalk on my phone, and like you I have the v4 beta on my nexus tablet for testing.

I see tapatalk v2 on the amazon.co.uk site for free yet it's apparently unavailable in my area.

After installing the amazon app, then searching on my phone, I got it installed for free... huzzah!

The HD/4beta is not compatible with my phone.

I've also updated the forum plugin... and I think they may have recently updated the 4beta app... (updates are frequent, it is a beta app after all)

Don't seem to get out here much lately, due to lots of life changes that I did not see coming. Have recently upgraded from a Samsung Convoy 2 cellular to a Droid X - and the local telco allows me to keep the cellular & text plan. This way I can keep costs down without needed a data plan (like with the newer phones require) and can have the convenience of a smartphone.

Droid X uses Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread). Was debating on using the Tapatalk app, as when logging into the forum from a browser I see this HUGE pictures saying THIS FORUM USES TAPATALK.  ::)

Is it worth the $3 you think, it just keep plugging with browser mode?
Do not have a lot of forums I hang out on. Prefer the tablet, but the phone is far easier to carry.

Not sure which browser I like the best either... have the default one, Opera Mini, and Dolphin. Dolphin i like in that I can take screen shots. Not sure if the Droid X (not rooted) can take screen shots... ???

Depends on how much you use it. If you use it often then it's worth it so you don't have to scroll in 4 directions dealing with desktop site, but the latest trend seem to be mobile version of a forum and ditch tapatalk support.

I use opera mobile but I don't like the latest version much, seems to be following the trend of dumbing it down.
