My latest Alox MiniChamp, that I found on the eBay, came in on Monday.
Seller's discripton said that it had scratches and wear from use and carry.  It actually came in looking better than the one I carry every day and still had the factory edges on both blades .

I got one a few months back.  I love it and often leave it on my desk.  The little picker hook is very good for removing the cellophane from cd's.   Not thick or bulky.

It's so handy!  I love that it's magnetic, because those sized screws disappear the moment you drop them.

I've written this before, but for off duty EDC I could probably get by very nicely with just the Minichamp.  It's a great tool.

I love both. The cellidor one had little pocket carry for now. The Alox is permanent resident on my key chain.
The cellidor is moded BTW.... first thing i did when i got it was pop out that ugly pen scale, and put in a regular toothpick scale. Looks slimmer and way prettier...  :D

Out of all my celidor MiniChamps I only have one that has the pen scale still on it.  I'll pick up used SD's/Classics, in different colors, to use as doners.

I’m tempted to do the same thing. I don’t really care for the pen scale and frequently need a toothpick!

Also, is it normal for the warncliff blade and orange peeler not to have much snap on opening and closing? Or does mine need a bath???

Those alox versions look nice too….

Love the Alox MiniChamp.  They're no thicker than a Rambler but you loose the scale tools, if they matter...

Mine are good.  If you have a celidor MC I'd take the scales off and give it a good soak and clean.  Unless you've got an extra set of scales, be careful when taking them off.  I always give mine a hot water soak before removing mine.

The Alox MiniChamp has arrived  :woohoo:
It’s my first MiniChamp and first Alox 58 mm  :salute:

I’ve been fiddling with it non stop! The first thing I did was accidentally drop it on the wooden oak floor and it just bounced off no problemo  definitely made the right choice getting the Alox version.

really liking its mini form factor and extreme utility.

Some things I did not realize about it...

that it’s only about as thick as my 58 mm caddy plus.  :tu:
Didn’t know that the spoon tool nail nic is slightly curved outwards almost like the awl on 93mm. Also the spoon tool has a nice snap and stability to it.
 8) Impressed by the snap on this thing.

I’m a big fan of the pick tool aka orange peeler and really like that it’s in the center of this knife.

That emergency blade is wicked and mine seems to almost have a very very slight curve at the end

This one is definitely going to see some pocket time  :ahhh
