A local gas station chain occasionally has these loyalty promotions where if you buy enough gas from them you can buy some items that are currently on promotion at lower prices. They partner up with a distributor of those goods to give you better prices. Coffee machines, tools, luggage, ... it varies. A few months ago they had BG stuff but none of it appealed to me for some reason. They did have a promotion of Victorinox goods a year of two back that sold like crazy.
Currently they are offering a variety of items by Fiskars ranging from household scissors to axes and shovels. Some Gerber stuff too.
Here's the interesting (to me) part of it:

The prices are in kuna (Croatian currency) and I added the $ prices for some of them but the conversion rate is about 1$ = 6kn
With the price deduction these prices are finally more reasonable and on par with US prices. For instance usually the X5 is $52 and the X17 is $94 here. -->
Fiskars prices in EuropeI haven't seen the A6 or A19 before though. Those are the same as the X series, just different lengths, right?
And another headlamp can always come in handy. This one appears to be the Gerber 31-001028 Bear Grylls and runs on AAAs, not sure if 1xAAA or 3xAAA. Low 8/High 25 lumens.
So what do you guys and gals say? Anyone have any experiance with these items? Would you recommend any of them? What should I buy myself to put under the Christmas tree?
