Oh poo!
on: November 16, 2013, 04:52:28 PM
After 16 years free of seizures, on Wednesday evening, epilepsy decided rear it's spazzy head. Scared the bejaysus out of my fiancee (she knew I have the condition,  but had never had to cope with it, as we've only been together just over 2 1/2 years).

I'm ok - just getting over the aches and pains and trying to straighten out my head. My inane drivel will make less sense for a while, most likely.

Sorry to hear that. Get yourself checked out by a doctor. After 16 years...something could have triggered it.
A little Leatherman information.

Glad your alright.  :tu:  I'm sure your fiancee was scared as watching a seizure can be hard, especially if you have never seen anyone have one and do not know what to do. Good thing your Doctors appointment happens to be coming up. Get checked up and stay safe.  :salute:

Fiancee is a former paramedic,  but never had to deal with a seizure. I've increased the anticonvulsants and, no doubt, the doctor will confirm that... or increase them further. I'll be ok, as long as they treat it as a one off and don't try to stop me driving. I'm knackered, if they do that, as I have to drive my fiancee, when the fibromyalgia and rheumatoid get the better of her.
Ach, it'll be right.
