The SOG scissors, file, or knife that looks like a key? Any opinions on them? I'm very interested in both the key knife and the key file. It looks like they have locking blades?

I don't have one, but I did see them in the store, and they do have locking blades.  It seems like a Vic Classic would be better quality, comparable in price, about the same size (particularly an alox Classic), and combine the knife, file, and scissors in single tool.  So, I really can't see what advantage these might have over a Classic on the key chain, but YMMV.

I bought the key knife for my son, it is bigger than a regular house key and the thing I don't like is the blade when closed rides higher than the notches on the key. " hope that made sense "  I guess if it was with a bunch of keys I don't think it would be noticed.

Except, I'll clarify that the key is THICKER than a standard house key, not taller/wider. I do think with a few other keys it will blend in well and not be noticed? If you want something that will pass right through most security checkpoints unnoticed (you know, so you can assassinate that diplomat or hijack that riverboat! *SARCASM*), this will work well, but otherwise, I would probably go with the Vic Classic!

So, after looking again, I have to revise my prior statement! The SOG key is a little longer than a standard house key too! About 2 pins longer, for those that know locks. So... I stand corrected! By myself! =)
