I tore something in my shoulder. No work today. I'm taking it easy.

Take it easy and heal up bud :tu:  Still no Rebar?

I will and I haven't given up looking yet. :)

Good :tu:  I hope your shoulder heals up quickly man :D

well Kyle I'm my shoulder is still really stiff but I'm no longer in pain so I'm doing ok now man. Thanks

now here is a thought I had rolling around in my brain last night.

I think I should use the blast until the little boy comes home.

the blast is the rebars predecessor I think I should give it a good going over and see if all the improvements I think should be made are found in the rebar.

just a thought. A good one I think.

we all know the skeletool cx kicks ass at what it does for what it is.

we might as well try and learn something lol

but as always. I just start topics its up to you what I really end up doing.

thoughts ???

Ok I guess

its on me.

I'm putting the skeletool back in the safe and grabbing the Blast.

I was hoping for a input but I can make up my own mind if I have to.

I agree with you Joel.  :tu:  I actually prefer the Blast to the Rebar, but that's just me......

I have a Fuse coming and I hope that this'll give me some more info on the tool (Blast, Fuse, close enough  ) before it comes.

You all that know me know I'm a serrated blade enthusiasts but I'd gladly trade the serrated edge blade from my rebar for the blasts scissors.

I think something may be wrong with me. lol

Glad your shoulder's doing better Joel :tu:  The Blast is an excellent choice as well for a sub for Little Boy.  Still, I hope you find that Rebar and are able see what it can do.

Good idea Joel. And you can't ask such questions while I'm smurf faced and trying to single handedly (is that a word?) smurf the European Union

:tu:  I agree.  I find serrated blades work much better than a plain edge for many cutting tasks.  It's just a pity that they are such a hassle to sharpen, at least for me that is.  I'd rather have the serrated blade of the Rebar and use my Micra if I want scissors.

The blast is a great snack opener.

blade and scissors have both seen use several times today. If I was carrying the rebar I'd be using a Saks scissors.

a  mod thought

the blast with a rebar pliers with the rebar awl in place of that stupid little driver would be a great tool.

I like the plastic fantastic handle liners.
I know some really hate plastic.

I carry a fully serrated endura most days so I wouldn't be out anything in my edc. I guess most people don't edc a serrated blade so maybe the scissors in the files place. Hmm I'd miss that too but I don't think the normal user would much.

I really like the shape of the Rebar's blade as well. It is more traditional than the OHO blades on many of the other LM tools and feels more comfortable to me.

It's a lot thinner but is a bit deeper than the Blast blade.
The Rebar does have the hump out of it though.

Mine are both 1.8mm thick at the spine, but the Rebar has a hollower hollow grind, if that makes sense.   :D

Cleaning out a storage building today

the fat man has been helping cutting down boxes and unscrewing some crates and shelves.

1959 is the date on the can

I think I should clean more often lol

This looks dangerous to me but the boss says it works.
shop built steamer for thawing frozen water lines.
I used the fat man to tighten and losen stuck gate values.

I always leave a value open. I think it would blow up if I didn't

with all my parts still attached :tu:

Between us I was a little worried it was going to blow up in my face. All in a days work I guess. :D

That's a bummer, but I agree that heat is more of a necessity than a cell phone.  I hope your wife gets better soon, and that you are able to get things taken care of and all that responsibility crap that gets in the way of our fun sometimes :tu:
