For sale: Hardback book "Wenger A Fervour Over Knives"

Mods please move this to the correct section if needed, but I wanted to make sure the Wenger aficionados found it. BTW, I found y'alls forum through an internet search.

This is a very rare book as you may know, only 500 copies printed in English and who knows how many of that number have been set back at Wenger and are not for sale. This copy is in absolute 100% mint condition, looks like it has never been opened, much less handled and read. Now for the special part….it is autographed to Bud Lang, editor of Knives Illustrated Magazine with the following inscription:

To Mr. Bud Lang
with compliments of Wenger SA.
Delemom, Switzerland
17th April 1996      J.P. Jaqud  Sales Manager

I received the book from a knife maker friend of mine who is a friend of Mr. Lang's.

I have 100% positive feedback on Ebay under the moniker "Texasrecurve". If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area or general North Texas area I might be able to meet in person to complete the sale. Depends on your location.

I apologize in advance, it's not going to be inexpensive due to its rarity, condition and its being given and inscribed to Mr. Lang. It would be for the most serious Wenger collectors I suppose.
$600 plus actual shipping costs.

Email me at charodm@sbcglobal.net if interested. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will.  ???

Hi

Welcome to the forum.  :salute:

Whilst I cannot comment on the price you have set for this book. I'd just like to say I also bought this book earlier in the year (March??) off amazon.com market seller for $350 plus shipping to the UK without any inscriptions and in mint condition.
I realise Wenger are no more, BUT personally I think that is a very high price for an inscribed book.

Good luck with the sale, as you say there are many serious collectors out there and less than 500 copies available.

Tosh
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.
