Greetings from Belgium
on: January 01, 2014, 07:33:05 PM
While I was doing some internet research on Victorinox, I was lucky to stumble upon this website. I immediately went to the SAK Forum to find out more about a certain model I'm interested in and it didn't take me long to become convinced that this is the place to be.

I'm not a collector yet, since I've always been of the opinion only to buy those knives and multitools I really need, but things could change.

I'm confident that I can learn a lot from visiting this forum on a regular basis.  8)

Hi there Wilfried.. Any SAKs or multitools so far? :)

Yes.

It all began back in 2008 with a red scaled Victorinox Spartan which I got as a gift from a Lithuanian friend. Later on I bought the Victorinox New Soldier, the Cadet Silver Alox and the Pioneer Silver Alox.

I also own a Leatherman Wave.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy the Victorinox Explorer.

Yeah, that doesn't sound at all like "a collector" ...  ::)
All of us started out like that, so we all know, once you buy more than one Swiss Army knife, you're lost ...

Anyway, a big welcome my fellow countryman .

So, maybe you should have a look at a Victorinox Spirit or Swisstool, I hear they are pretty nice ...  :pok:.

Edit: random pic ....

Thanks for your words of welcome!

Indeed, I'm not a collector, but there is a high probability that I will become one.   :D

Belgium is the country I live in, but actually I'm a German by nationality.

I became thirsty from roaming this forum.

I few nice Stella's would go down well now.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
