I really like the Flik and I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. You are absolutely right though in that the drivers, can opener etc are pretty tiny and awkward. It would indeed be better if it had longer, more substantial tools, but then you lose the sliding head. Or, you end up with an amazingly fat tool like Leatherman's attempt to make a Gerber, the OHT.Neither my hands, nor my patience are big enough to EDC the OHT. Def
I've only handled a Flik when we bought one for my step father in-law, and I liked it. I haven't handled an OHT yet, but I'd like to, even though it is quite ugly.Here's a pic for comparisons between the two:(Image removed from quote.)
I didn't even think of the Freehand, but you're right, it would be a closer match. It's too bad they have such stubby drivers, I'm sure they could have figured out someway to get even just a little bigger ones.I'm feeling the need to get an OHT, Flik and Freehand now.
