+1 on hedgehog cuteness and securing transport.

I received yet another Bantam today, pushing the total number in the horde (hoard?) to eight. This one is an economy model with the older combo tool, so it's likely early 1980s. I didn't get a chance to put it in the roll, so it's enjoying a little pocket time.

The older kid bought me something for Father’s Day and I’ve been putting it off, the thing was it could be set up three diff ways, and between the two that I liked, I liked key features in both but not one in particular, so I kinda mixed it up a little, I liked the rat rod better, but I liked the engine in the other along with the side pipes, plus the other one had mirrors so I built the one then mixed it up and this is what I came out with,,

Mrs got one to replace the one in the bedroom along with the clock, now the old one when in the kitchen to replace the really old one which I like which is going into the garage!
Funny thing was these were originally like $99, but on sale for $69, yet on sale again for $49, but if you asked her over your system to add it to the cart, you ended up only paying $32+tax so $35! The Mrs was so thrilled cause she so hated her alarm clock, but after everything went through ours told us that it would be here later in the day so the Mrs smile just doubled in size, lol. So a few hours later it came and she’s got it all set up with so much extra room, I love it cause if the lights on the numbers are bright, but then the darker it gets the darker the numbers get so when it’s pitch black in your room and your trying to sleep your bit blinded by your clock, I gotta find something like that, but I also like the temp and it being atomic,

I ordered some Vic' scales from Ukraine a couple of weeks ago - they arrived today  :mail:

The Sapphire Blue ones are for me and the other blue ones are for another member here (just waiting to get some other bits together before sending  ;) )

Thanks guys,  yeah it’s was an idea to spend time with her and also get her to chill out, but I saw it on Amazon and thought it was cool, after she put 2+2 together she was like “where are we going to put it together”? I said in the dining room I’ll just have to find some nice size piece of cardboard so that every time we have dinner I can move it like to the bedroom, not that we have a large dinner often because the kid works now, so this should be fun, it’s a 500piece puzzle, so it should take some time..

One of the pro’s of the kid working at the local movie theater, one of the managers knew it was the Mrs bday the other day and she absolutely loved the movie and is a Elvis nut, so she gave the kid the display poster to give the Mrs, the other displays like the cardboard ones they normally raffle between the workers, and the posters they normally ask around and someone gets lucky, yet in the closet they have old ones that no one’s ever wanted, I sooo wouldn’t mind taking a look!
But the Mrs had the biggest smile this morning!

Not as tough as this one:
One morning a young lady (maybe blonde) called her boyfriend requesting his help with a puzzle purchased.  She explained that it had way more pieces than she thought and hard to tell the front from the back, and she needed his help.  He asked what the picture was and she said a CAT.  He arrived a short bit later, found her over the table with awl the pieces scattered on the table and she was sobbing!
He looked at the pieces, the box and picked her up out of the chair and moved her to sitting room.  “I’ll fix you a cup of tea, just relax!”, he said.  As he brought her the tea, he asked, “ is that better?”, “after you finish I will help you put the FROST FLAKES back into the cereal box!” :whistle:

Well I just got something else, our town has a little group on Facebook, I forget what it’s called but it’s for only residents of our town and if anyone wants to get rid of something and isn’t selling it, so just has something and is giving it away for free, they can post it on the groups page, and then others of the neighborhood will jump on it, and trust me, normally more then one will!
Anyway, someone posts a model of the titanic, they requested to whomever be good with models, so of course I jumped on it, well I waited a few days yet today they wrote back and we made a way to pick it up, (our kid and his buddies who ate over went and picked it up) she told our kid it came with instructions but her husband didn’t like them and ended up going to the manufacture and ended up printing out like 75pages, this thing isn’t cheesy, I mean look at what he paid for it 10yrs ago! Yeah some of it is done but this thing has a lot of work to it, and the Mrs is nuts about the titanic, she said since this things so big we’ll have to get it it’s own shelf, and she’s like pointing to above the tv in the bedroom, lol.. this is going to take some time!

The Mrs wants to keep the back outdoor driveway light on, but I explained to her it’s not a newer light and it’s going to run the bill up, we even tried it out and it turned on during the day so the sensor is shot so I had to get a new one, so not only did I get led, but motion sensor too, so it runs at 50% all night until it senses motion and then it will go up to 100% but for only so long and then back down to 50%, then of course once the sun starts peeking up it totally turns off, the neat thing is it even comes with a remote so if I needed to I can change the settings without having to get up on the ladder, the other cool thing is it’s three sided so I can light up what areas I want and not what doesn’t need to,, the only thing is it’s going to have to wait to be done cause it’s hot out, and in order to wire it the main garage door has to be closed and being 90° outside inside and up in the loft area it’s going to be like 110° so that’s going to wait till maybe Monday when it drops into the 80’s..

I acquired a pair of vintage slip joint pliers from a yard sale today.
