Thank you, Leo. The KM6 is not spring loaded. Both the KM1 and the KM6 are very nicely finished and I love them.

How does the lock work? Looks similar to the Axis lock but it doesn't appear to function the same.

In picture number 1 - just slide the lock to the right to close the blade.
