Last night the Detroit Red Wings beat out the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals 3-2. Although the Penguins almost tied it up in the last seconds of the game, in the kind of shot you only see in Hollywood movies!

They had a good strong team this year. Pittsburgh didn't give up easily and the Red Wings had to work for it. You can't take anything away from them. As for the Penguins, well I hate to say it, but Sid the Kid lead them all the way to game six of the Stanley Cup playoffs- there's a hell of a rookie year!

Now that he has some experience, watch out next year!

Ahhhh, victory at last!

Gotta hand it to Pittsburgh, they put up one heck of a fight. No way did I figure it was going to last six games. A very exciting Stanley Cup battle between two great teams.

(with the best one coming out on top of course)
