They start around 70,- € new in online shops and up to around 100 in brick and mortar stores.

it's certainly a possibility. There are more reliable signs than the price though.

Ordered one on German Ebay shipped to Finland with 53 Euros. Finland lowest webstore find is about 79 Euros plus postage. High as 115 Euros for basic Champ.

In north america $60-$70 is typical, but you can find them for $50 which is a great price.  I buy up all the $50 ones I can find when I find them.
