Moving soon... moving soon. My new mantra.
We were about to go to Home Depot for a few odds and ends for the new house, and the neighbor's gate was off the hinges again, and their dogs wandering their (and our) front yard.Called cops, and went on about my business.
which part of our fair Isle do you come from Joe?
when you went AWOL for a while I did wonder if you'd been 'eaten' (or locked up for murder)hope you enjoy many 'idiot free' years in your new home *p.s I will miss the on going drama, it's like someone has cancelled a favourite TV soap opera
We've been out of the old house for months now. By and large, my old idiot neighbor is a long-forgotten horror of the past. It's very nice. The worst animal problems we have now is a persistent barn owl that insists on hooting at 2 AM, and a neighbor who mows his lawn 4 times a week. All quite tolerable.

As for cancelling your favorite soap opera, I feel like someone just cancelled my live-action version of 'Cops'.And I'm okay with that.
Glad to hear things are working out, just out of curiosity, please be so kind to keep us updated on what happened to the idiot...every soap deserves an ending, regardless how much it suck.
Obviously you don't want to agro them any more than needed as who knows what damage they'd do to your house... but it'd be awfully tempting to get a wheel clamp and lock down any car parked there... Of course the obvious solution is to call the scrappers and say there's an abandoned car on your property and you'd like it disposed of. but yeah, that might cause agro and damage to your property.
I won't post what I would do.
