Parker was a typical Jason Statham movie kind of like the Italian Job where a heist goes wrong and women can't get out of their clothes fast enough for him. The big difference between the plot here and the Italian Job was that instead of one member of the crew going rogue and trying to kill the rest of them, this time it was the entire crew trying to kill one member. He spends the rest of the movie trying to get even with the help of his real state agent, Jennifer Lopez. Yup. You read that right.
As strange as that sounds, there was some good knife/tool porn in it. The bad guys hired an assassin to kill Jason Statham when they realized that shooting him repeatedly and dumping his body in a bog didn't work. Since bullets obviously don't work the assassin carries a serrated Spyderco- I think it was a Police model. Jason Statham even gets it poked through his hand
While gathering resources to hunt down his former teammates, Jason Statham somehow manages to obtain what looks like it could be a PST, which he uses solely for hotwiring cars.
Unfortunately it was on TV so I was unable to get any screenshots, but the Spyderco and PST showed up a few times in the movie, so they'd be hard to miss.
Anyone else see this film and have any better info?

You'd probably vaguely recall the commercials that were on for about 17 minutes last year when it was released.
It pretty well flew right under the radar, but you should remember the powder blue suit, the big white hat and the world's worst Texas accent!

Still don't remember it. But I don't watch tv hardly at all. Just walking dead, revolution and Mythbuster. And only then when it is out on Netflix or whatever just to watch those only. I can't get cable out here and I dont own a satellite like Dish.

A few pictures for you.
The first Spyderco is from when there's an assassin after his girlfriend who then pops up later (just after the hour mark) to get the document forger.
The third one (which may be the same one) is from a hotel room at about 1:20.

The only Leatherman I've found in a quick flick through appears at the same time as the middle Spyderco, when he's disabling guns in the gang's safe house.
If you can remember roughly in the film other ones appeared I'll have another look.
Edit: found another one where he's hotwiring a car at about 25 minutes.

Yup, that's the one!
Sorry for making you watch such an awful movie just to get screenshots!
I think the rolled handles in the second photo are a dead giveaway for a Leatherman SuperTool 200. And I'm quite certain that the knife is a Spyderco Police model.

I have a bit of a man-crush on Jason Statham so I'd already seen it. Wasn't going to watch it again, mind!
I'd struggled to identify the Leatherman but it's not one I've ever been interested in so that's not really surprising.

I am a bit of a fan of his movies as well, although most are quite horrid. I find some of them so bad they are enjoyable.

well quite. They're great "it's been a rubbish day" movies in general.

Why does the bad guy always carry a serrated spyderco.
I'm not bad and I carry one.

I'm only half bad as mine is partially serrated.

If it's any consolation, the bad guy is usually British
