Maglite spare aaa battery question
on: May 07, 2014, 02:58:31 PM
I am the proud owner of my first single aaa led maglite. What do people use to carry a spare aaa battery?

I was thinking of trying to obtain a spare non-working maglite to use as a case.

CountyComm used to sell battery holders made to hold AAA's. I carry one on my spare keys with some ant-acids in it.

Thanks Sawman - That looks perfect. Now to find one this side of the pond.

I'd be tempted to buy a cheapish small led AAA flashlight (eg Fenix E01), that way you have a total spare light, not just a battery.

I'm not so sure about a spare light, it just takes up so much space in your EDC. I like the battery locker idea much better.

Cheers gregozedobe, but I've just looked at the price of the Fenix and it's more than I paid for my Maglite

Not me.  I'll add a few mm to that battery locker and have a spare cell and a backup light in case my main fails.

Yeah, I can buy an EO1 for $5 more than the CC battery locker.
