My First Leatherman.
on: May 07, 2014, 01:46:52 AM
I traveled to Colorado in 1986 to hunt with my buddy's brother,Steve .My new friend Steve, who owned the ranch on which we would hunt, showed this new tool to me.I thought I was fully equipped with my V-nox Champion and my Randall model 11 Alaskan Skinner, until I saw Steves Leatherman.

No sooner than I arrived back home, here on the east coast,I went in search of a Leatherman.I still have that tool almost 30 years later.LOL.

All of this talk about Leathermans had me thinking about updating with a few more.

So I just ordered a Wave and a Super Tool 300.I would have bought a Surge but I couldn't find one,at what I thought was a fair price. So the hunt continues.LOL.

PS: I forgot to mention that I also own a Super Tool from about 1994.

Wow. Nice. It looks to still be in incredibly good condition, and if the sheath is original, it's ALSO in great shape. Great specimen.  :tu:

I have a confession to make.

I am a sick puppy.

I actually clean, lubricate, buff out scratches and polish my knives and multi-tools.

Did I mention that I have a sickness.LOL.
